We left DC at 10:30 last night and made it to the site around 9am. We were caught by a certain S2K driver about 100 miles from the site and followed him the rest of the way in. The drive was uneventful, but there was a WTF?! like occurrence... There was an Acura Vigor with New York tags and bling-bling wheels that spent about 50 miles trying to get us to race him. :rolleyes: We couldn't shake him until we got off the road for a pitstop.
I picked up some WTF?! injury points for snapping the jack handle together with some flesh (now torn) between the pieces. Practice was good news-bad news. The car is working great. The drivers are not. Hopefully nothing that some sleep won't help cure.
The course for Saturday (and Sunday's as well) looks to be very RX-8 friendly. Hope we can take advantage of it.
