Videos from the 2005 WDCR Solo II Championship Event #5.
We used a new camera angle this time around on the RX-8 and have nine RX-8 runs available: four from John, one from Jane
and four from Clyde. This time around, Clyde has some competition
for the foulest language. You have been warned.
John is clearly on a roll, putting a convincing smackdown on Clyde this
past weekend. He knows how to launch the car a
whole lot better than Clyde and was more trusting of the new TeamRX8 front bar as well.
The RX-8 videos need the latest version of Apple's Quicktime
(currently version 7.0). You may be able to stream them, but you
can always fall back to right clicking and choosing "save as" if that
doesn't work well. (We used a new codec, h.264, this time around
and wouldn't mind feedback on whether the quality seems better or worse
than vieos from earlier in the season.)
The M3 videos are in Windows Media format again (unfortunately).
Nick's video is five runs (lucky bastard got a rerun) and 93 MB.
Ken's is missing his fourth run and is only 53 MB (or something like
that). Both the M3 videos display Nick's WTF?! camera mounting abilities.
Each individual run video is about 17 MB, the compilation videos are
65-70 MB (longer courses make for longer and larger videos).
