The second event of the 2006 WDCR Solo Season is in the books...hopefully never to be reopened.  Out of six Team WTF?! drivers, only one was able to manage a class win.  There was one second, two thirds, a fourth and one...well, not as good as fourth.

In B Stock, John V took the win despite having an "oops" moment during his first run and left teammate Clyde so far back in third that it left his head spinning, literally. "I wasn't late on the correction, I was so early that I started correcting before there was a problem, " Clyde said.  After a sigh, he continued, "You know how some days you're just on?  Well, today may have been that day for someone, but not for me.  At least I beat that genius Obadia."  When informed that Greg Obadia had beaten him in raw time and PAX, Clyde commented, "I'm not surprised.  He's got a Turko Turbo in his pocket.  What are you gonna do?"

Bren and Nick continued to look at the tailpipes of Brian Hair and Junior Johnson in A Street Prepared.  Bren topped Nick (which didn't surprise anyone), but was still a long three tenths out of second place.  Nick is believed to have had issues, but no one knows what they were.  When it looked like he was going to begin his usual excruciatingly detailed post competition analysis, everyone stopped paying attention and ran for the hills.  The only question that anyone wants answered is if he's found his three seconds yet.  The results clearly show that he has not.

BahnBaum was the Team WTF?! entry in STX.  He would prefer that we not speak any more about it.

Although she was slightly spooked by the Team WTF?! RX-8 on her first run, Jane got it under control on her middle runs for a solid second place finish in Ladies class.  It fell apart again a little bit on her fourth run when she started "losing it," but lucky for her, the course workers didn't notice her go off course.  Perhaps the new look of the Team WTF?! RX-8 distracted them?  What are you gonna do?
