The August event saw new engines, broken mikes, boys beaten by girls, and the usual body trim piece destruction by those competing in the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge.  ltdan12a took the victory with 35 points while still not managing to make 4 runs in a day.  Moxnix's adventure in getting his car to run witha  new engine and unknown alignment settings was good for second place with 28 points.  In third was perennial Team WTF?! exemplar extrodinaire, bren.  With Nick's unintended assistance by virtue of borrowing tools and not properly returning them, bren picked up 25 points.  Tied for third was CamarosFS34 who worked two shifts (WTF?!) and won the class in a borrowed, newly rebuilt car...and she didn't even want to drive.

Overall for the season, comeptition for the top spots in the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge is tight (Season Standings).  Bren leads with 142 points, but his membership in Team WTF?! makes him ineligible for the big prize (still TBD).  SCCA Cobra is holding on tight to second place and not far out of first overall with 135 points.  We look forward to seeing how many points he collected at the September event, as he had lots going for him (or is that against him?), but mkr8cr, who is close behind in third, may have a doozey of a report as well.
